Aries: They’re wide awake. They don’t want to miss anything, of course. They’re the bright eyes of child, roving quickly over their surroundings… a constant flittering. They’re always searching for something to sate them to no avail.

Taurus: Sleepy eyes. They can’t seem to stay open. Their lashes slowly lift up every once in a while. The onlooker wants them to stay open. They’re so beautiful, after all… but Taurus doesn’t care. Taurus will do as they please.

Gemini: They don’t say as much as their lips but Gemini’s eyes do speak volumes. The edge of one eye is crinkled by a cunning half smile. They are both warning and playful, totally fixated on the eyes of who they speak to.

Cancer: Watery eyes framed by long eyelashes. They calm and heal but always shy away from the direct stare of a stranger. Only their loves should enjoy the pacifying gaze, but Cancer often makes exceptions when it comes to children.

Leo: At their best they are radiant and smiling. Eyes that study nearly every face in the crowd, often to see if they are being looked at. This friendly inspection offends some but makes most swoon.

Virgo: They’re narrowed nearly to slits, accompanied by furrowed brows. They’re full of concentration, solving riddles and sifting through information. They’re always locked onto something.

Libra: The eyes of a girl forever in love, rose-tinted and longing. They quickly pass over unsightly scenes but gaze for ages and ages when they have found beautiful one… whether it be a person, a flower, or a sunset.

Scorpio: Arcane and calculating.
They will scrutinize your every move through a bewitching veil, and make your blood run cold if the meter of their lie-detector ticks into the red zone. Pass the test and they’ll gaze lovingly… a rare treat.

Sagittarius: Laughing eyes that will slip into a stare full of philosophy and emotion only when by themselves or around those they hold dear. Such a stare is often evoked by tranquil scenes of nature.

Capricorn: The most stoical pair of eyes. They trick many into believing their owner is faultless and charm superiors until it is time to take their place. These are the eyes of winners.

Aquarius: Wide eyes full of uncompromising intelligence. They deconstruct whatever their gaze falls upon and reconstruct it again and again. Nobody knows when and how they are doing this but it’s beautiful.

Pisces: Eyes that always propose their owner is somewhere up in the clouds. They’re cloudy and unfixed, nearly always failing to notice the people that stop to admire them. But when they do notice… reality seems more magical than their dreamland for a little while.
